Rebuild side, our own crew
Home Builds
Custom homes built by our own crew in Farmington and across southeast Missouri, from site preparation and the foundation to the interior finishes.
Chapter 01
A house starts with the ground it sits on
Custom home construction is the long job on our list, and most of it happens before anything looks like a house. The crew at Quality Cleaning and Restoration builds out of Farmington, Missouri, and the first conversation is about the lot: where it slopes, what the soil does after a wet spring, and where the house has to sit so the water goes somewhere other than the basement. We would rather settle those questions with you at the start than discover them with a trench open.
Site preparation and foundation work come next, and they set the terms for everything above them. A foundation that is out of square shows up later as a door that will not close and a floor that will not stay flat. We spend the rest of our time drying out and repairing buildings where that kind of problem finally surfaced, so we know what a poor foundation does to a house over the years. That history is why this stage of a custom build never gets rushed here.
You deal with one company from the first walk of the lot to the last finish. There is no handoff between a builder who frames and a different outfit that handles water, fire or mold later. The number on the truck, (573) 631-8495, is the same whether the call is about a new build or a burst pipe in a house we never touched. Homes and businesses across southeast Missouri use that same line, and it is answered at any hour.

Frame, weather skin, then the rooms
Structural framing and exterior systems turn the foundation into a shape you can walk around. Walls, floors and the roof get framed square and tied together, then the exterior systems go on to keep rain and wind off the structure while the inside is still open. Framing is a service we sell on its own, including framing for fire-damaged structures, so it is work this crew knows well. The people framing your walls are used to reading what a structure has been through.
Interior build-out and finishes are where the frame stops being a frame and becomes rooms. Floors, walls, cabinets, tile and trim all go in an order that protects the work already done. Flooring, kitchens and bathrooms are all things our own company does, which means the kitchen is not designed by one outfit and tiled by another and then argued over when something does not line up. One company owns the result, and the finishes get chosen with the whole house in view.
Because we also handle damage, we pay attention to moisture while the house is still open: where a wall could take on water, where a bathroom needs ventilation, where a deck meets siding. Those are the spots we get called to on other people's houses, so we build them the way we would want to find them. Owners across southeast Missouri hire us for the same reason, one company that sees the whole life of a building, from the first stud to the repair years later.
Chapter 03
Inspections, scheduling, and what comes after
Code compliance and inspections are part of the job from the start, not a scramble at the end. We build to what the inspector will look for and line up the visits in the order the work needs them, so a wall is not closed up before someone has seen what is inside it. If an inspector asks for a change, the crew that built the wall is the crew that fixes it. Nothing waits on a second contractor to be called back out.
Project management and scheduling is the part owners notice most, because it is the difference between a site where something happens every day and a site that sits. We keep the order of trades, the materials and the inspections in one plan, and you know who to talk to when a question comes up. We will walk you through that order of work before the first stake goes in the ground, in Farmington or anywhere in our service area, so the schedule is something you understand and not something that happens to you.
A new build is not the only way we meet a house. When a remodel follows water, fire or mold damage, the same company that handled the loss handles the rebuild, and our team works alongside your adjuster on the claim so the repairs match what the insurer requires. We are licensed and insured, we have over 25 years of experience, and estimates are free. We handle both residential and commercial projects, and a full build is managed start to finish.

The exterior, finished
Yellow siding, timber steps, a new deck.

An A-frame roofline, yellow siding, new timber steps, and around the side a deck facing open field. Custom home construction at Quality Cleaning and Restoration starts well before any of this, with site preparation and the foundation, and it ends with the same crew standing behind the house.
